Seed of Peace is a Community Interest Company (CIC) set up to provide benefit to the Nonviolent Communication (NVC) community in Bristol, the UK and worldwide. We organise and lead courses, workshops, retreats, networking opportunities, mediation training, healing and reconciliation events, and one-to-one sessions in the spirit of Nonviolent Communication.
We hope that communities will benefit through:
- Inner healing using the NVC trauma healing and mourning process.
- Improved relationships within relationships, families and work-based teams.
- Building community through dialogue.
- Contributing to society through conflict resolution and reconciliation events in war and post-war areas.
To make these benefits as accessible as possible to people of different resources in different economies, we offer them on a sliding scale or donation basis.
We also plan to offer support and assessment for NVC trainers-in-training in South Asia and elsewhere. The community will benefit by there being more NVC trainers in South Asia who can share NVC in their own languages, making the benefits of NVC available to people who can’t speak English.
If Seed of Peace CIC makes any surplus it will be used for creating new projects and supporting individuals setting up NVC-related projects.
