More about the venue
Parking? Hooray, some free parking is available at this venue in the forecourt on a first-come first-served basis. Please car pool as much as possible so that nobody has to use the expensive central Bristol car parks. You can post lift offers or requests on the NVC West Facebook group
Directions to the venue:
The venue for this event is very central but somewhat hidden from view so please take a moment to plan how to find it!
The address, again, is Quaker Meeting House, Champion Square, Bristol BS2 9DB
Here’s a map showing the location of Champion Square:
The building looks like this:
You may notice the building is in a little square and there’s Phoenix pub opposite.
By bus, get off as close as you can to Cabot Circus or Old Market Street (it’s between bus station and Old Market).
By car, to use the car park in forecourt you MUST approach from Temple Way and turn left into Champion Square immediately after Future Inn (on your left). Then turn left again and the venue will be on your right. PLEASE NOTE: Access is blocked from another direction with bollards even if it looks possible on the map.
From Temple Way, the turning into Champion Square seems unlikely, as if it was only for loading. You turn left immediately after the Future Inn, on the left of the photo below, and just before the two trees:
