This is the online launch of Shantigarbha’s new book, A Thousand Kisses Deep: Love and Relationship on the Buddhist Path. The book is a practical guide for couples in conflict, blending psychology and Buddhist wisdom to transform reactive patterns into deeper understanding, connection, and care.
It’s title comes from a Leonard Cohen song that explores the links between passion and compassion. Although it’s subtitled ‘Love and relationship on the Buddhist path’, a lot of the understanding and skills are from NVC, including Shantigarbha and Gesine’s practice of couples mediation and reflecting on their own partnership.
Shantigarbha will read passages from the book, talk about the writing journey and answer questions from the audience.
